We are all deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. As our longest reigning monarch, the Queen made an extraordinary contribution to national life here in the United Kingdom and around the world. Throughout her reign she was a tireless supporter of British Industry, most particularly through the Queen’s Awards, which have celebrated innovation, international trade, sustainable development and, most recently, promoting opportunity through social mobility.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family during this period of national mourning.
